Entropy - 1992 - Ashen Existence
Какой он, канадский трэш? А как обычно - зубодробильный, с очень плотным саундом, таким, что обзавидуется любой шведский редкий дет. Вот разве что Annihilator немного выпадает из этого умозаключения.
Ну выпадает, так выпадает. Кстати, Энтропи тож можно считать техно-трэшем, но, здесь вокал иногда рычащий пробивается. Что и придает звучанию коллектива некий колорит. Но всё равно это трэш. Скоростной, барабанноустойчивый, гитарнозапильный.
Попробую привести списочек "симиляр артистов" : Annihilator, Razor, Testament, Atrophy... хм, местами даже Defiance и разгильдяйство Tankard, и завывания Slayer (вокал иногда по типу Тома Арайи).
В общем, нравится группка. Жаль всего два альбома выпустить успели.
Да, просьба не путать с еще одним, брутал-дезовым Ентропи из Канады.

It is quite surprising to find an album of this high quality released during the final years of the vanishing thrash metal scene. Nonetheless, Entropy's Ashen Existence really hits the mark. The debut of this Canadian group must be one of the best "unknown" albums I've ever heard, composed of highly complex but fully consistent thrash metal. The sound of this album is unique and stylish, a wall of captivating riffs and distinctive vocals that range from high screams to low growls with ease. Despite the longest tracks approaching ten minutes, there's no dull moment as these songs roll like an unstoppable machine. The only blatant flaw is the weird Psionic Dissection which is just an incredibly bad piece of death metal, complete with such a poor sound that you would think it had been meant for a demo tape instead. But if you can skip past one track, the rest is about as good as it gets. Although Entropy didn't maintain their original style on later recordings, Ashen Existence remains one of the better releases in the genre.
