The Fallen Idols are Boise's own indigenous Guns N Roses. Watching their live show is like watching an arena rock band trying to fit their immense stage show into club venues. Al Vicious rocks the lead guitar like a mysterious Slash/Jimmy Page clone while Greg 'The Reverend' Goodell jumps off the stage and races through the crowd like a rabid Axl Rose at Madison Square Gardens. The front row can be a dangerous place as rock drummer and showman Kelly Long is routinely chucking broken sticks out into the unsuspecting crowd which he will later autograph after the show and apologize for any injuries caused. Jake Schaefer adds a deep dynamic and cool presence and precision to the bass lines as he is responsible for the Fallen Idols' thunderous sound.
