Recorded at Joe’s Garage, Waalwijk, The Netherlands from March 25th - 27th, 1985 & released as a demo cassette that year.
Re-released on CD-R as 'The Old Tapes' EP to mark the band's reunion concert at Tilburg Headbangers Fest on September 30th, 2006 at Extase, Tilburg, The Netherlands.

This band from Tilburg started in 1982 and was founded by the Jacobs brothers Renй, Kees and Huub.
Musically, the band was influenced by SAXON, SCORPIONS, BLACK SABBATH, RAINBOW, URIAH HEEP, DEEP PURPLE, KANSAS, etc. However, they have a sound of their own because everyone wants to put his favourite band influences in the music.
‘Keep on rocking’ and ‘Keep on Dragon’ was their slogan in the eighties. Their music is straigt-on and pure hardrock. Not too simple, not too symphonic and it rocks. Their message has always been don’t worry about social problems, but live your life and enjoy the music.
In 1985, they released the 5-track demo simply called “Demo”. This demo delivers good hard rock with an important spot for the keyboards. Maybe a bit too soft for the speed freaks among us, but RAINBOW fans will like this demo for sure.
On vinyl, the band contributes on the “Metal Power IV” single with the song “Captured”. Gigs were given in Holland (especially Zeeland) and Belgium. They played as support act for URIAH HEEP, BODINE and VENGEANCE and even headlined at some festivals.
It’s not known to us what happened with the band after that, but surprisingly enough in 2006 a reunion gig is played for the Tilburg Headbangers Fest on September 30th, organized by Mario van Dooren. 21 years after the “Metal Power IV” single!
After the reunion gigs in cafй Extase (2006) & Little Devil (2007) in Tilburg, the band decided to continue and played in May 2013 with DEEP MACHINE in Tilburg and a few months later at the 7th (sold out) edition of Mario’s Metal Meeting with bands like TYGERS OF PAN TANG & JAGUAR.
The songs they play now are a selection from the different bands they played in (Red Dragon, FRONTIERS, C.O.B.S). After 5 years and the search for a new vocalist, Red Dragon goes on stage in Tilburg-The Netherland, Little Devil, April 5th 2013 with their new vocalist (Guido Theuns).
In september 2013 Kees (organ/synths) decided to quit the band in case of hearing-problems. A very tough decision he took with pain in his heart.
In January 2015, the band plays a (free) farewell show in Tilburg with AFTER CHAOS. The curtain falls for RED DRAGON and marks the end of their career.

In addition to their 1985 demo, the band also recorded a five song 1982 demo not mentioned in the bio above, entitled 'Heaven Or Hell'. (https://www.discogs.com/release/9690700 ... en-Or-Hell)
At that time they were still a quartet, with bassist Huub Jacobs handling lead vocals whilst their future vocalist Ben Van Gerven played drums. According to discogs the 1982 demo was limited to just 25 copies.
After Red Dragon's original split the 3 Jacobs brothers all remained active in music, eventually forming the Hard Rock band C.O.B.S. who released the 9 song 'Evidence' album in 1997.
