Wow..... a surprising great little demo tape from Little Mr. Me, a band that went completly unnoticed at the very tail end of the hair metal era. This was yet another band from the legendary Sunset Strip/Hollywood scene trying to compete for the Poison and Motley Crue Dollars. Thes guys certainly had the chops! Great songs with just a bit of a unique twist, powered by a sensible pop and glam metal attitude and a look that was not too overdone. The tape has only four songs and those song titles are actually had written by the band n the inside of the otherwise well created cover. The tape itself had money spent on it. The production and the duplication are professional and the music sounds rich and perfectly produced. "Boogie Woogie Bugle Girl" sounds just like you'd imagine it.... full speed ahead Poison with a touch of rock-a-billy.... "Intro Satchmo" must be heard and "Cherry Bomb", well, it is not that Runaways songs but probably the most straight forward glam rocker here. Great stuff and a great tape!

Back in 1993 I had a brief stint roaming about the Sunset Strip in Hollywood. One night, while I was at the Roxy to watch Heart Throb Mob, a band I didn't know called Little Mr. Me were walking around the crowd handing out demo cassettes. I sent a girl that with me (they were, of course, much more likely to get one) over to ask for one. HERE IT IS!!! This little piece of Sunset Strip history has been in my persona possession since that night in the fall of 1993. I've decided it's time to move it along. On this tape you'll find four rockin' hair band tunes, professionally played and professionally recorded, that you'll love to add to your collection. These guys may be wearing suits on the tape cover, but they don't sound like they are wearing suits! GREAT stuff! Don't pass this up! Please let me know if you have any questions.
