By 2003 Halford was manning the drums for covers act TRANZAM. He would also work with the AL ATKINS and the A.N.D. and JELLYSTONE credited JOHN WYLDE. This latter project boasted strong JUDAS PRIEST connections with bass handled by GRAVEL's Alex Hill, son of Ian Hill, and ex-JUDAS PRIEST man AL ATKINS handling vocals.
