LINE UP Nikki Flaherty (vocals), Jon Blakely (guitar), Mario Ermoyenous (bass), Nigel Halford (drums) VOODOO SIOUX, formed in 1991, came to prominence with their 'Peyote Trance' demo. Drummer Nigel Halford, ex-of STATION ISLAND and PAPERHOUSE, is the younger brother of JUDAS PRIEST's vocalist Rob Halford. VOODOO SIOUX were created when Halford and bassist Mario Ermonymous were members of a female fronted funk-rock band PAPERHOUSE. The band added guitarist John Blakely but when the lead vocalist left ex-BITCHIN' HOUSE singer Nikki Flaherty joined and theband adopted the new title of VOODOO SIOUX. First gig was at a local school charity show were the main event was another relation of Rob Halford, his sister Sue, auctioned off JUDAS PRIEST memorabilia for a worthy cause. VOODOO SIOUIX subsequently began pursuing a harder direction and have supported the likes of LITTLE ANGELS, ROCKHEAD, TERRORVISION and SKYCLAD. The album SKRAPE was released in 1995. By 2003 Halford was manning the drums for covers act TRANZAM. He would also work with the AL ATKINS and the A.N.D. and JELLYSTONE credited JOHN WYLDE. This latter project boasted strong JUDAS PRIEST connections with bass handled by GRAVEL's Alex Hill, son of Ian Hill, and ex-JUDAS PRIEST man AL ATKINS handling vocals.
Там же можно послушать и несколько песенок с альбома SKRAPE.
