Demo from the Florida Power Metal outfit THUNDER. This tape - called Ultimate Metal Machine, is classic, and I mean classic, 1980s power metal. Imagine Savatage meets Riot meets early Helstar. The guys are all dressed up in cheezy costumes and they all have HUGE hair but no whimpy songs here! This is not hair metal stuff, instead, four power metal classic are featured here in "Don't Lock me Out", "Cutthroat", "War Zone" and "Road Warrior". The tape was recorded in 1987 or 1988 and it is the only music that is availabe from these guys. The tape is well produced, the sound is full and powerful, the vocals soar all over the place and the riffs and guitar leads melt everything in sight. Were these guys the ultimate metal machine? That may be a strectch, but the tape is killer.
