Founded in 1985, the group recorded a 5-track demo that allowed them to get their first concerts. It was during a show at the Marquee in London that the band was noticed by an A&R from Polydor.
At the beginning of 1986, the label sent the group to Los Angeles for a series of concerts in the most famous clubs of the city.
The idea was to see if the band had enough potential to stand out in the hard rock jungle of L.A.
After only 4 dates, the success was such that the band was offered a club tour throughout the USA and a record deal to release an album the following year.
