Roxcy's debut 5 track CD, has often been the topic of conversations with some of the most esteemed collectors in the scene, everytime I was asked what some of the most elusive, and truly "rare" indie hard rock/glam CDs out t were. Sure, t will always be room for discussion on what is rare, and what makes a "rare" item truly worth seeking out (a cool cover? great sound? the fact it was never reissued? a famous member in the band?) but all factors considered... over the years, several indie glam CDs have established themselves as prized possessions to the few who own them, and coveted among the many who don't. Roxcy's debut has often been found on the wantlists of many, but- I can count on one hand- the number of top hard rock/glam collectors on the planet I know, who own this CD (and I know many- as I've been in the business of specializing in the "rarest of the rare" in hard rock/metal since the late 1990s.). If you're after something exclusive- that NOONE you know has, and something that also sounds good, look no further. This, Roxcy's debut was superb- quality energetic hard rock- far better than the majority of bands that came out of Japan (although t were some AMAZING indie cds that came out of Japan as well: Wired (debut), Bodyaux (debut), Hurry Scuary (1987 debut), Bad Loser's debut (featuring Hurry Scuary's vocalist), X-Ray (their early work was nothing short of stellar), and many others that fell under the radar of most fans. ).
