Не могу удержаться, чтобы не упомянуть о том, когда я эту сказку "Puss in Boots" ("Кот в сапогах") прочитал в упрощенном (для малышей) варианте на английском языке.
Первая же фраза дико доставляла, она была примерно такая:

"A miller had three sons, and when he died the the eldest son took his mill, second son took his ass and the youngest son took his puss."

попробуйте перевести, и название сказки и предложение, используя привычные нам значения слов :nunu:
