This fantastic Los Angles ‘80s hair metal band were as authentic as it gets when it comes to TRUE '80s Glam/Hair Metal! Lickiity Split were playing the LA Sunset Strip clubs in the mid-'80s right alongside all the now major glam bands like Poison, Warrant, and Faster Pussycat!! The demo features melodic glam-metal
in the vein of Motley Crue, Poison, Pretty Boy Floyd and Warrant! G
reat musicianship, amazing harmony vocals and classic '80s style Sunset Blvd. cock-rock lyrics atop a very solid production! (Considering this demo was recorded in 1988 the sound is fabulous). There's no question about it, this band was the real deal!! THey were hot off the heals of the major Glam movement of the mid/late '80s but unfortunately never got their big break. But there is no question that this band is world-class '80s glam all the way! This is the original, very rare demo/ In 2009 Retrospect Records released several tracks from this demo (w/ bonus tracks) on CD. But the 2 tracks "Faster" and "Too Late For Love" were never released on CD (and only available on this demo). This is the original masterpiece and is truly a rare metal gem for the '80s hair metal fan!
