LATTER REIGN (US, CA) - Demo

This is a California band whose one demo is quite rare and from what I found out, quite a bit searched for on the web. Latter Reign are a Christian Band, but not as in your face as, let's say Stryper. However, musical similarities can be applied here to the yellow and black attack. The tape showcases eight quality songs with some great musicianship and solid, melodic vocals. The songs are richly orchestrated as the band features two guitarists and keyboards by Tony DeLa Rosa who also produced this. The sound is impressive, the cover (albeit slightly damaged - see pic) is nicely printed and the tape is professionally duplicated. The bad appeared on a couple compilations in the late eighties and early nineties but never had a full blown record. If you enjoy the musical aspect of such bands as Stryper or even Holy Soldier (a better comparison), then you'll love this Latter Reign tape. Cool stuff!!! This has the feel of a recording that was to be released officially, but I have been unable to find out any further info....
