Quote:
Paul has always had a love for music. He discovered his talent for playing drums early, and would practice different drum solos continuously on whatever he could find.

Paul was surrounded by music, having an older sister and two older brothers always listening to records. His main influences were Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, Led Zeppelin, and King Crimson. Yet, he was always fascinated by jazz drummers.

He purchased his first drum set when he was in the fourth grade, then formed his first band, Apollo 3. At age 9, Paul performed for the first time in front of a large audience at a party for the entire school.

In 1972, Paul attended his first concert, Ted Nugent. During the early 70's he played in various no-name garage bands. In the mid-70's he joined Dynastar. He was also in the bands The Slam and Heads Up.

In 1980, Paul met Scott and formed Frenzy. The band was together for several years. During that time, Paul did a recording session with Early Warning.

In 1997, Paul, Scott, and Rusty formed THE BLAST. "After 30 years of playing music, I play every gig with the excitement of it being my first gig, and feel privileged to be playing in a band with two of the best musicians I've ever known."
