B.J. Norris - bass
ANTIX came together in Los Angeles when erstwhile JAILBAIT members guitarist Jace White and vocalist Greg Clewley formed an alliance with the former PAX rhythm section of bassist B.J. Norris and drummer Ian Evans in 1982. The band was soon signed to GREAT WHITE mentor Jeff Gordon's McDon productions.
The 1984 'Get Up, Get Happy' mini-album was co produced by DON DOKKEN and DOKKEN bassist Jeff Pilson, the duo's working schedule being so tight they split between the ANTIX album in the evenings and their own 'Tooth And Nail' album during the day shift. The record was released in Britain on the Heavy Metal America label. During 1986 the group announced the recruitment of lead guitarist Jay Paul and guitarist / keyboardist J.R. Curtis to the line-up.
Vocalist Clewley later turned up in the far more mysterious DARLING CRUEL with major deal to boot.
