ANGEL ST. Rare 6 track demo tape .These guys appeared in METAL EDGE magazines "ROCK ON THE RISE" feature back in '91. They sound like a combination of Steelheart,Slaughter and early Skid Row. The power balled "I'll Be There" could have come straight of the first Steelheart CD.Image wise they looked exactly like Southgang or Steelheart

Once known as Toy Blue from Medway, Ohio the band gave it a last go as Angel St. out of Chatsworth, Georgia, before packing it in. word ahs it, recent events caused a brief reissue of a CD featuring the band as Angel St.; at least, that's what I heard when I bought the last remaining copies of the release.
The Official:
TOY BLUE was born when vocalist, Jim Langston had a chance meeting with bassist and drummer brothers, Butch and Chris Nation in early 1987.
After trying several guitarists to replace the former Gary Dyer, they found the perfect fit with Jeff Allen. Toy Blue hit the road and never looked back, traveling all over the U.S. non-stop for 3 years, during which time they released a 5 song recording.
Their love for music and performing was plain to everyone who saw their live show, be it on their own or opening for other bands, such as "Lillian Axe', "King Swamp" and "Victory". Few groups during the "hair band" days had the chemistry these four guys had.
It all ended too soon due to the pressures of touring. They performed their last show at "The Riverbend Festival" in Chattanooga, Tn. in June of 1990, just before they could release their 14 song collection.
There was a brief moment just after Toy Boue let it go where the nation brothers paired up with a new guitarist and vocalist and gave it a last shot with a 6 track CD as heard below. An extremely rare and fine hard rock addition to the archival library at All Hard Rock.
